Comiconvention Milan 2007The city of Milan welcomes its annual appointment with Comiconvention, famous comics Fair which celebrates this year its XVIII° edition.

On 29th and 30th of September the comics’ protagonists will appear inside the Quark Centro Congressi.

Started in 1990, Comiconvention celebrates this year its 18th birthday.
It represents one of the most expected events for comics fans and collectors, who every year rush here to admire and take rare and unique pieces.

Comiconvention is not only a comics fair, but for many people it represents a real meeting house. Here in fact, it is possible to find and look at really unusual prints, reprint of the most famous comics, original tables and above all, old and untouchable copies, transformed now in pieces of antique, such as different comics belonging to the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.
So this fair is really a good occasion for purchasing and trading of comics and more: on the occasion of the Comiconvention it is possible to find also lots of gadgets of the past which have been currently converted into objects of modern art.

The aim of the Fair this year, is the comparison between old and recent comics’ heroes and two guests of honour will attend the event, two representatives of the Star Comics publishing house.

Comiconvention will take place into the halls of the Quark Centro Congressi, with larger and more welcoming halls today, set to give hospitality to both adults and children in the fantastic world of comics.
