Until the 28th of March 2008 the airport Galileo Galilei of Pisa will house a new ediction of “Carving the work”.
“Carving the work” it’s an event of great importance both artistic and cultural. Born in 2001 from the collaboration with the Festival Pucciniano of Torre del Lago, the purpose of this manifestation is to spread the international contemporary art through Giacomo Puccini‘s music.
Every year, in fact, in the huge space of the airport, beautiful sceneries are made up inspired by Puccini’s compositions which serve as background to his music.
These sceneries are realized by great artists of the international scene, who are involved in every ediction in the realization of this important project.
The director of the exhibition is the architect Alberto Bartalini, who has chosen Nall as the leading character of Carving the work 2007.
Even in 2005, Nall realized for the occasion the wonderful scenery of “La Fanciulla del West”, and this year he undoubtedly reconfirms his talent presenting the ashlars for the scenery of “La Rondine” by Puccini.
Moreover, at the Pisan airport, which every year houses thousands of visitors, will be possible to admire some artistic works (characterized by the heterogeneity of the materials used), results of Nall’s artistic genius.
Carving the work 2007 will wait for you until the 28th of March 2008 at the Pisan airport Galileo Galilei.
