The Museum is not a Drag

In Milan “Il Museo non è una palla” (“The Museum is not a drag”)…no, I’m not making fun of you, this is just the title of the great review of events which the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci of Milan offers for Christmas.

Continuously from 20th December until 6th January, the museum will turn into a book of history and science, which will have all the answers to all curious people’ questions.

Of course, the chapters of this book are the numerous initiatives in the works; a rich calendar full of activities, exhibitions and events in fact will lead you in the pursuit of the secrets of important scientific and technological studies and researches.

The events have been subdivided according to the theme in order to make the visitors’ choice easier. It will be possible to choose between:

<!–[if !supportLists]–>· <!–[endif]–>Leonardo (from 20th to 24th December), the area of the review dedicated to the genius par excellence, creator and builder of clever appliances, and also extraordinary urban planner of ending 15th-century-Milan;

<!–[if !supportLists]–>· <!–[endif]–>Materiali (26th, 27th and 28th December) during which both adults and children will have the chance to back and fill with scissors, paper, colours, and modelling clay, learning in this way also the differences and the importance of these materials;

<!–[if !supportLists]–>· <!–[endif]–>Chimica (30th and 31st December) the section dedicated to the discovery of the substances that we daily use but we know not yet so well, such as plastic, colorings and baking powder which we use for our delightful Christmas cakes;

<!–[if !supportLists]–>· <!–[endif]–>Energia (from 2nd to 4th January) which with the initiative “Costruiamo un forno solare” (“Let’s build a solar oven”) will make you try to building a solar power oven to use at home;

<!–[if !supportLists]–>· <!–[endif]–>Festa del Teatro Scientifico (5th and 6th January), an itinerary to discover the aerostat, the Locomotiva 691 (Locomotive 691) and the secrets of Stradivarius instruments.
