Lucca Comics 2010 has come back. Take a look at the world of Comics & Games

From October 29th to November 1st 2010, the city of Lucca in Tuscany will host again the special and renowned event Lucca Comics and Games, four days dedicated to the world of comics, books, fantasy, games and fantastic itineraries.
As usual, for this edition many events are scheduled: meetings with special guests, exhibitions, showcases, screenings, Comics Talks and meetings with editors.
On Saturday 30th October, visitors will find at 10 am at palazzo Ducale the event “WONDERLAND – QUANDO ALICE SE NE ANDO’” – where the NPE presents the new book of the series Nuvole In Tempesta. Tuono Pettinato, Alessio Fortunato, Lorenzo Bartoli, Sergio Ponchione, Elisabetta Melaranci and many other authors will tell us about what happened in the Wonderland after Alice left. And this is just one of the many original and interesting events scheduled from October 29th to November 1st.As for the screenings scheduled, the lovers of comics will find many events such as: on Friday 29th October at 10.00 am in San Girolamo, A Homage to Satoshi Kon: Millennium Actress.
On Saturday 30th October at 10.30 am at Loggiato Pretorio, Lucca Animation presents: Japan Independent n. 1. And these are just a few of the screenings dedicated to the world of comics.

In addition, the “Comics Talks” come back in the edition 2010. An opportunity for talking and to be confronted with authors and designers of smartphones and tablets apps. Meetings for talking about contemporary comics and their relationship with reality and society, an appointment with the great authors for discovering “the sense of creating comics”.

Another very special guest will be Chris Ayers, a young American artist who will the guest of della Design Studio Press (Pavilion Lucca Games, stand A023). Chris has grown up dreaming about the great cinema, enchatend by the great colossal such as Star Wars, Disney cartoons, in a mix of dinosaurs, mythology, aliens. Thanmks to his talent Chris worked to the graphic creations of the strangest creature of the movies such as Men in Black 2, The Fantastic Four and The Santa Clause 2.

Furthermore, there’s an area dedicated to the children, with Lucca Comics Junior, which schedules many events and fun initiatives for teens and children.

Th Inuyasha Day, promoted by Dynit, MTV, Star Comics, StarBright and Viz Media Europe, during which special awards will be given to the cosplayers who took part in the event and will dress like the personages of the famous saga created by the genial Rumiko Takahashi.

Such fabulous events and many more will wait for you in Lucca from October 29th to November 1st 2010.
