From 1st to 9th October 2011, 51st edition of Genoa International Boat Show will be held in the Ligurian capital to offer the best of seamanship world.

The exhibition areas of this edition will be the Pavilions C, D, S, Blue Pavilion, Mondoinvela Pavilion, new Marina, Marina Uno, Tensile Structure, yards and outdoor areas.

And now, let’s have a look at some numbers: 1,330 exhibitors coming from all over the globe, 2,000 boats on display (450 of which in the water) and over 450 new models.

Also this year, there will be many side events accompanying the appointment, conferences and meetings about several themes linked to the sea and boats. Tech Trade, for example, the sector dedicated to components and accessories – pavilion C. Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th October are days suggested to professional operators.

In addition, Round tables and conferences organized by UCINA focused on relevant topics, aiming at providing an overview on the boating industry system in Italy and some food for thought about the most important issues of the sector.

The first edition of the International Boating Forum, an international round table organized by Fiera di Genova and UCINA and chaired by a journalist of The Financial Times.

Opening ceremony will be held on 1st October and the boat show will be open until 10.30 pm. On the other days, opening hours will be the following: every day from 10.00 a.m. through 6.30 p.m.; on Saturday 1 October the Boat Show will be exceptionally open until 10.30 p.m.

Admission fees: € 15.00 (concessions: € 12.00)
