Enjoy your Summer in Rome: a Holiday for Everyone

Once again, the Roman Summer is back!

For a couple of months Rome will offer its locals and tourists the opportunity to enjoy a real “holiday for everyone”.

Approximately 175 events scheduled in the program, from June to September, with a range of surprises and traditional activities: film screenings, theatre performances, concerts, dances, meetings, seminars, summer camps, readings and book presentations, guided tours, exhibitions, workshops and much more.

There will be important and famous people of cinema, theatre, dance, literature, as well as young emerging artists and authors who will have the opportunity to be appreciated by the audience.

The events will involve the whole city area, from downtown to many suburban areas, places of Rome nightlife and museums, courtyards of housing but also nursing homes, hospitals and prisons, confirming the well-deserved role of Rome as a European capital.

The innovation of 2012 is just the involvement of some suburbs of the city, such as the Trullo, Casal Bruciato, Primavalle… The suburbs will turn into a real theatre backstage.

You can find the calendar of the Roman Summer events on the official website.
