The Desco festival: “tastes” and “knowledge” in Lucca is back

From November 14th to December 8th, four weeks under the sign of Lucca and Tuscan typical flavours.

A real gastronomic itinerary, with tastings, recipes and stories which will let you discover this wonderful land.

In a music, art and photography setting, you will have the chance to taste delicious food, but that’s not all: in fact, there will also be meetings with olive oil producers, workshops for children, cooking contests and itineraries through the groceries and the restaurants of the town!

And you will also have the opportunity to visit the lovely town of Lucca!

The event will start on November 14th, from 1 pm to 7 pm, with bruschettas, olives, wine and honey; the day after a tasting of Aquileia soup will be held from 11 am to 12.30 pm.

Your voyage through Lucca flavours will then continue on the 27th, when the new wine and oil will be presented, and on the 29th, Saint Andrew’s day, with a thank you lunch at 1 pm in Mastiano.

Lastly, from December 5th to 8th, the exhibition of typical foodstuffs will continue at DESCO, from 11 am to 7 pm.

And remember that in 20 minutes you can reach Pisa, another wonderful Italian city. Don’t miss it!
