Cultures and Arts meet in Florence with Fabbrica Europa 2013

From 16th April to 19th June, 20th edition of Fabbrica Europa will take place in Florence. As in previous years, the event will be hosted by the Stazione Leopolda and others venues.

Fabbrica Europa was born in 1994 from an idea by Maurizia Settembri and Andres Morte Terés with the aim to create in Florence a house for the cultures of all Europe. Fabbrica Europa gave and intends to give heed to many local, national, international artistic realities.

The bond between the foundation and Europe is testified by the fact that the European Union abundantly contributed to the financing of the most significant projects, underlining their value.

In January 2003, with the initiative of the Fabbrica Europa Association, the Pontedera Theatre Foundation and the Music Pool Association, and in accordance with the Public Authorites supporters, was born the Fabbrica Europa for Contemporary Arts Foundation (FFEAC), a foundation in the service of the public good and open to collaboration with public and private authorities that share its objectives: its aim is becoming a source of new occupations and to foster collaboration between civil society and institutions.

On 16th and 17th April at the Era Theatre in Pontedera of the Pontedera Theatre Foundation, it will be held the first event scheduled, Un flauto magico by Peter Brooks. Many other events have been scheduled, such as the one from 3rd to 5th May, In cerca d’autore. Studio sui “Sei personaggi” at Stazione Leopolda; on 30th April and 2nd May at the Cantiere Florida Teatre will be held La Boule de Neige by Fabrizio Monteverde; and many others.
