From October 31st, Lucca Comics, the International Festival of comics, cinema and illustrated games, comes back

Now on its 27th edition, Lucca Comics is one of the most important and most expected international festivals loved by cinema, comics and games addicts.

The festival will take place from October, 31st to November, 3rd: four days full of meetings, projects, concerts and special guests.

On the first day, visitors will enjoy an unmissable appointment with David Lloyd, the cartoonist of “V for Vendetta”. He will show his new project “Valle delle Ombre” in the Italian version “Aces Weekly” (on Thursday October, 31st at 6.00 p.m. at S2 – Showcase Chiesa dei Servi).

On the occasion of the film release of “Capitan Harlock: Space Pirate” (distributed by Lucky Red), the Raggi Fotonici & Friends will perform the show “Capitan Harlock Universe” on the Lucca Comics Stage (on Friday November, 1st at 7 p.m. at Music Stage & Cosplay).

Great expectations for the national preview of “Thor: The Dark World”, directed by Alan Taylor and produced by Marvels Studios (three film screenings scheduled for Saturday 2nd November at 2.30 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. – 8.30 p.m. at Astra Cinema).

In addition, don’t miss an incredible meeting at the Japan Palace on 4th and last day of the Festival!

A photography workshop with Naoya Yamaguchi, a free-lance photographer specialized in advertising photos, he works at his “Studio Diva” in Tokyo and he’s the official photographer of Miss Japan and Miss International (on Sunday November 3rd at 10.00 a.m. at the Japan Palace).

These are just some of the many projects and meetings scheduled for Lucca Comics festival.
