From December 20th to January 6th, the cultural administration of Rome offers “Roma Città Natale” to its visitors and citizens. “A unique festival in the world” where all the private and public initiatives are gathered together under a single institutional framework.

The Capital prepare itself to Christmas with an extraordinary and large plan of events.
In this period,  Roma is full of lights, Christmas cribs, music, theatre, dance, songs, exhibitions, literature and poetry, opening its heart to solidarity.

It is provided the extra-opening of the museums which make part of the “Circuito Capitolino” (circuit of the Capital), such as the Macro, the Museum of Roma, the Centrale Montemartini, the Ara Pacis and the capitolini museums. The concerts take place in the squares, in the theatres and churches, the Christmas ones in Villa Torlonia or the jazz ones in the Trajan’s Forum.
