Mugello Track: enjoying Races and Relax

Italians are doing countdown for MotoGP, Italian Gran Premio, which will take place on 15th July 2012 at the Mugello Circuit.

After had been awarded as the “Best Grand Prix 2011″, this year Mugello will host 9th MotoGP World Championship.

In this edition, there will be a new tribune, divided into two parts and placed next to the famous bend “Arrabbiata”. The tribune has been dedicated to the Italian Marco Simoncelli, the unforgettable rider who died last October.


The two tribunes will host 1500 spectators and will be red-white coloured, obviously with number 58.

Last year, Jorge Lorenzo won the Gran Premio 2011 with his Yamaha, the second was Pedrosa and the third Nicky Hayden. Nothing to do for Valentino Rossi, who gained 5th position.

After having reached 6th position at Sanchsenring on last 8th July, Rossi declared that this was the best position he gained in 2012.

Mugello Circuit awarded as “BEST GRAND PRIX 2011″

Probably for motorbike lovers it’s a confirmation: the Mugello circuit is the most favourite by all riders and motogp followers. And now it’s official, since Mugello circuit has just won theBest Grand Prix 2011” prize.

The trophy is given directly by pilots, mechanics, sport journalists and experts through the IRTA association.

The prize has been awarded for the circuit track quality, the Mugello staff efficiency, the quality of services offered and certainly, and also for the peculiar skill to “make everyone feel at home”, typical of Mugello circuit of Scarperia, as expressed by the words of the IRTA President Herve Poncharal.

The prize, awarded since 1976, has been won by the Mugello Circuit for the 5th time.

The Grand Prix of Italy, thanks to recently-signed agreements, will continue to race in Mugello for the next 5 years.

On July, 15th 2012, the Tuscan circuit will host the 9th round of the MotoGP World Championship.
