Notte Lido Blu

On Saturday 26th of July, Lido di Camaiore will become the most funniest town of Versilia: twelve hours of entertainments of any sort will create the most important event of the versilian summer: “Notte Lido Blu” (Lido Blue Night).
The event will take place in four different squares of the Lido and on the beaches ahead, with two special partners: RIP CURL and W.I.T.C.H. (the Disney monthly magazine).

In LEMMETTI SQUARE will take place the second and last Italian stage of the Rip Curl Girls tour 2008. This is the 6th edition of the Rip Curl Tour and after six years they have taught surfing to more than 20.000 girls. Professional surf teachers like Elise Garrique, the Rip Curl official testimonial whose life is divided between fashion runways and surf boards, and Valentina Dazzeo, the 2007 Italian Champion, will be engaged in introducing girls to the waves riding. At the begging of the sixth stage motogp 2008

From 30th of May to the 1st of June the Italian Gran Prix will be held at the Mugello circuit

and it will coincide with a cycle of 6 races in just 8 weeks.
This circuit, well knowin the past for the most beatiful grand prix duels, enlights passions and hopes of all wordchampionship title pretendents, although “the doctor” doesn’t agree about the idea of abandoning its privileged relationship with Mugello; Rossi reveals his hopes, moreover, never disregarded

But Stoner follows him:
“Whenever anybody asks me which is my favourite track, other than my home track of Phillip Island, Mugello immediately springs to mind. It is a true racetrack - fast, technical and demanding because it requires a precise line otherwise you can loose a lot of time,”
conscious of the mistakes made in previous editions, seeks redemption by climbing on the podium.

Even Lorenrzo and Hayden don’t hide their happyness and appreciate the skills of the Mugellano circuit. Hayden also underline the atmosphere (Here he will surely have tasted the best tortelli)
but criticises the asphalt track (too full stomach?)

Let’s see if there are unforeseen exploits, Edwards, doesn’t feel many chances: ” I don’t like very much Mugello,…” or the same Michael Schumacher (?!?). Rumors said he’s having an accurate preparation to this Motogp appointment

Let’s Run! StraMilano starts again

On next 6th April the most expected sport event by the runners of our country comes back: ‘Stramilano 2008‘.

‘StraMilano’ is the most famous extracity in Italy, an event which, from 1972, gives as a gift to the city of Milan an entirely day dedicated to sport, to health, to solidarity, and to entertainment.

This year StraMilano is scheduled on 6th April, and once again, it will include professional and amateurs athletes who come from all over the world. StraMilano is dedicated to everyone, with no age, sex or “speed” discrimination.

Infact, the marathon, for its participants, divides itself into three! Right, because during the day of 6th April there will be three different itineraries which will go through the city: ‘StraMilano of 50,000′, ‘StraMilano Agonistica Internazionale’ (International Agonistic Stramilano) and ‘Stramilanina’ (The little StraMilano).

The capital’s run starts again:14th edition of the Marathon of Rome

On 16th March will start the 14th edition of the Marathon in the city of Rome, the Italian sport event which every year reaches the greatest number of participants. The marathon will start at 9.00 o’clock from Via dei Fori Imperiali, near to the Colosseo, and this year has a list of 14,500 athletes who come from 76 different countries.

The great Marathon of the city of Rome is an event which is organized at the same time in two different itineraries: the first one is the big run, to which take part professional athletes who race along a way 42 km long.

The second one, Stacittadina For Fun, has no competition, it’s about 4 km long, everyone can take part to it, and it starts immediately after the race of the athletes. This year it broke the record in participants, having a list of 50,000 registrations.

The marathon of Rome is an event which, as shows the number of registrations of every year, catches the attention of thousands professional athletes from all over the world, who use the occasion for running, trampling on the most ancient streets in the world and admiring the amazing artistic and architectural treasures which surrounded the run of the marathon. The shine of Luna Rossa!

After a hard escalation to compete for Louis Vuitton Cup trophy, Luna Rossa is now in the finals!

Francesco De Angeli’s team won the title seven years ago, first and it has gained great results during this yacht race new edition, defeating without hesitations the teams encountered till now. The LVC includes 13 challenges among the various teams and the Italian yacht appeared to be inferior than teams like BMW Oracle and Team New Zealand, anyway it has been able to gain the third place, equal to the American Oracle. The decisive date was on 20 of May, when the Italian yacht won on the American team with a final result of 5 scores against 1. Now, the Italian team is going to face Emirates Team New Zealand in the finals, then the winner team will dispute an important challenge against the Swiss Alinghi, on the occasion of the 32° edition of the America’s Cup challenge, that’s to say the most famous award concerning this sport and the most ancient trophy worldwide known, for which it is custom to compete still today (Alinghi won the title in 2003).

Ricco’, more than a simple win

Force test of Ricco’ yesterday at the Giro d’Italia. Both with his team’s companion Piepoli, he won one of most difficul race of the Giro. From Trento until the mounatin Tre Cime di Lavaredo; a distance of 190 kilometers with 4000 meters of unevenness.
After the deserved stop of today in the village of Auronzo, Tommorow the course will take the cyclists until Lienz, in Austria, after the top of Campolongo the stage will come down to Brunico to go up again through Dobbiaco, S.candido and Bannberg in Austria, Finally will go towards the goal, in the plain, to Lienz

Seven times Rossonero!!!!!

Yesterday night at the beautiful frame of Olympic Stadium in Athens, thousands of viewers around the world witness the Milan Football Club conquer its seventh Champion’s League trophy.

Paolo Maldini who is a month shy of his 39th birthday, is the 10th captain who has had the fortune to raise one of the most important trophies of the Football World for the 5th time.

The Milan Captain and his team have accomplished a historical and unforgettable feat.

A magic night for Filippo Inzaghi who scored Rossonero’s two goals (’45 – ’82) that took Milan to the Glory for a special Milan which strikes a perfect Liverpool.
