It is about to start the second edition of SAPOR BIO which is the exhibition of the Biological Taste organized by Five Bio s.r.l. This year SaporBio will be carried out in cooperation with the most important cities of Versilia’s area: Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta and Camaiore.
SaporBio, which will take place from the 11th to the 15th of June, will deal with the bio-ecological world, the show system, the field of food and wine toghether with citizens with the intent to spread the message of living and eating healthily, completely respecting the environment. The goal of SaporBio is the spreading of the biological culture and the civility concerning the ecologically sustainability of environment. This important event wants to suggest the rediscovery of the old genuine tastes, of many new menus and the knowledge of economically sustainable products too.

“Disney on Ice” comes to Italy, the great show on ice which has as protagonists the most famous and beloved personages of fantasy.
This year “Disney on Ice” celebrates its 100th birthday and for the occasion it decided to involve in celebrations also the hearty Italian audience. Infact Minnie, Mickey Mouse, the Disney princesses and many other personages, arrive at “Palalottomatica” (the major sport palace in Rome) between 23 and 27 April, giving as a gift their audience a wonderful show on ice.

Adults and kids will be called to jump in the world of fairytales which for this occasion come back to life, and which, between music and dance, inscribe on ice a magic dreaming atmosphere.
The great Disney on Ice Musical is an event not to miss and it’s an occasion to persuade children in believing in fairytales, and also to persuade us that we weren’t wrong to believe it when we were children!

On next 6th April the most expected sport event by the runners of our country comes back: ‘Stramilano 2008‘.
‘StraMilano’ is the most famous extracity in Italy, an event which, from 1972, gives as a gift to the city of Milan an entirely day dedicated to sport, to health, to solidarity, and to entertainment.
This year StraMilano is scheduled on 6th April, and once again, it will include professional and amateurs athletes who come from all over the world. StraMilano is dedicated to everyone, with no age, sex or “speed” discrimination.
Infact, the marathon, for its participants, divides itself into three! Right, because during the day of 6th April there will be three different itineraries which will go through the city: ‘StraMilano of 50,000′, ‘StraMilano Agonistica Internazionale’ (International Agonistic Stramilano) and ‘Stramilanina’ (The little StraMilano).

“Milano dell’acqua” (”Milan & Waters”) is the name of a particular and suggestive event which takes place in these days in Milan and is born to value and appreciate the landscape and the history around the city of Milan, sometimes unknown by its own inhabitants.
The event has started on 14th February and is divided into a list of appointments which will give foreigners and people from Milan the opportunity to discover the territorial waters of the city through an unusual and suggestive itinerary, from the city Aquarium, to the Navigli and covered water channels of the city.
There will be 20 appointments which will lead all the participants in the historic, artistic and cultural reconstruction of the hidden part of Milan, certainly the most beautiful and interesting one.
Among many cultural projects, there are also lots of events for kids, and for all the participants there’s a brochure of the route full of images of the most beautiful water places.
“Milano dell’acqua” is part of the project “Cento Milano” (”One Hundred Milan”) and, as expected, it represents the fourth event, which will be followed in May by (more…)

On 16th March will start the 14th edition of the Marathon in the city of Rome, the Italian sport event which every year reaches the greatest number of participants. The marathon will start at 9.00 o’clock from Via dei Fori Imperiali, near to the Colosseo, and this year has a list of 14,500 athletes who come from 76 different countries.
The great Marathon of the city of Rome is an event which is organized at the same time in two different itineraries: the first one is the big run, to which take part professional athletes who race along a way 42 km long.
The second one, Stacittadina For Fun, has no competition, it’s about 4 km long, everyone can take part to it, and it starts immediately after the race of the athletes. This year it broke the record in participants, having a list of 50,000 registrations.
The marathon of Rome is an event which, as shows the number of registrations of every year, catches the attention of thousands professional athletes from all over the world, who use the occasion for running, trampling on the most ancient streets in the world and admiring the amazing artistic and architectural treasures which surrounded the run of the marathon. Giacomo Puccini, one of the most famous Italian composers, was born in Lucca 150 years ago, December 22nd, 1858.
His Operas, including “La bohème”, “Tosca”, and “Madama Butterfly”, are among the most frequently performed in the standard repertoire.
Many celebrations are planned for his 150° Anniversary in Italy.
In every corner of Italy, Operas, concerts and conferences are organised in honor of him and the community of Lucca will build a bikeway dedicated to the “Maestro” (as people use to call him), that passing by Marina di Vecchiano (Pisa)

Every year, on the 7th of Dicember the city of Milan celebrates the day dedicated to St. Ambrogio, saint and patron of the city.
This day represents an event very significant for all the citizens, who are involved in celebrations both religious and popular.
The 7th of Dicember, in fact, people goes to the special mess in honour of the saint, celebrated by the Archbishop of Milan in the Basilica dedicated to the city’s Patron. The Ambrosian Ritual originates even before the Saint, and has a duration and some characteristics different from the Roman Ritual.
