New Seven Wonders of the World: The ColosseumAmong the newly elected wonders of the world we can find our Colosseum!!!

These new wonders are considered as such because they are added to the previously selected ones in 140 BC from Antipatro of Sidone that have almost completely disappeared.

The new wonders are a result of a big private opinion survey proposed by Bernard Weber, a Swiss-Canadian director during the Olympics of Sidney 2000, after the destruction of giant Buddhas in Bamiyam, in Afganistan, by the hand of the Talibans.
