Orient Festival in Marina di Carrara, Tuscany

From October 31st to November 3rd 2013, the exhibition centre Carrara Fiere in Marina di Carrara (Tuscany), close to the seaside, will host the Orient Festival with colours, music and perfumes of far away lands.

A great event dedicated to the oriental world and all its contemporary and old traditional features: ceremonies, folklore, shows, exhibitions, health and wellness, spirituality, holistic disciplines and many other cultural activities are waiting for you.

The event is open to the public everyday from 10 am to 11 pm and the admittance fee is € 10,00.

Septemberfest 2012, a toast between Ingolstadt and Carrara

From 25th August to 8th September, Septemberfest will come back in the town of Marina di Carrara!

The Septemberfest, founded in 1976, as an evidence of the twinning between Ingolstadt and Carrara, has become one of the largest and most important beer festivals, in a real German style, which every year takes place out of German borders and gathers more than 120 thousands visitors.

Its success is due to the originality of its products: bavarian typical beer, German folk music, entertainment and typical cuisine.

The famous “tree of May”, typical of Bavaria, dominates the square of Carrara.

The Tuscan City of Carrara celebrates with Festivals and Septemberfest

From Friday 9th to Sunday 11th September 2011, the 6th edition of “Con-Vivere”, the festival of philosophy, comes back in Carrara with the main theme “Bianco, rosso e verde” (the colours of Italian flag: “White, Red and Green”). This because the whole event will focus on the Italian Unity, analyzed from every side by many journalists, historians, economists.

This year, the festival will have as usual a rich program: it schedules 14 meetings, 4 concerts, 2 painting exhibitions, besides many book shops and restaurants open and beautiful squares crowded by people.
