The Venetian Artist Lorenzo Lotto on display in Venice

Lorenzo Lotto‘s artworks, a great artist of Renaissance painting, are exhibited in Venice from last 9th March and until 7th July at Reggia La Venaria.

In the rooms Sale dell Arti of La Venaria visitors will find the most important paintings of the Venetian artist together with ten or so new works belonging to several Italian churches and museums.

Spring has just come to Milan

Spring in Milan is going to begin on next Sunday March 10th with “El tredesìn de marz”, one of the oldest festivals and fairs of Milan’s folk tradition.

The origin of this traditional event joins the old Celtic traditions of the city with the devotion to St. Barnabas.

Bici@Romaexpo 2013: Rome cycles!

After the first successful edition of 2012, the bike exhibition comes back in Rome from March, 7th to 10th.

The Italian capital will be invaded by bikers and experts of the sector: the last edition hosted over 128 thousand visitors.

At Bici@Romaexpo in Rome there will be the major companies of the sector exposing many new products, and so many initiatives and events for young and old bike fans.

Turin between cinema and art

On January, 23rd, the exhibition “Gianini and Luzzati. Cartoons” was inaugurated at the National Museum of Cinema in Turin. The exhibition at the Mole Antonelliana will be on the calendar until 12th May 2013.

For the first time the original materials of animation movies will be put on display of these two extraordinary artists. More than 200 characters, sketches, sets, storyboards testifying the creative process that gave rise to some of the masterpieces of the international animation cinema will be the protagonists of this special exhibition.

Florence Dances with Danzainfiera 2013

 

From February 21st to 24th, a special event celebrating the world of dance will be held in Florence inside the ancient walls of Fortezza da Basso: Danzainfiera.

Danzainfiera is an event dedicated to all dance enthusiasts and professionals, it involves all dance styles: from classic to contemporary, from modern to tango, from hip hop to latin, from country to musical, ethnic and vintage dance, from waltz to burlesque and pole dance.
