TORINO PER IL CINEMA CONTEMPORANEO

Riparte il “Torino Film Festival” dal 23 novembre all’ 1 dicembre

“Il Torino Film Festival”, alla sua 25° edizione, è ormai un consueto appuntamento per tutti gli amanti del cinema contemporaneo.

Il Festival si dedica, ad ogni sua edizione, alla ricerca di nuovi talenti del cinema, dando loro lo spazio necessario per emergere a prescindere dalla natura tematica delle loro creazioni cinematografiche e dal loro paese di origine.

Frontiere del cinema aperte a tutti i film-maker e video-maker, con particolare attenzione ai giovani piemontesi a cui il festival dedica lo Spazio Torino.

Ad ogni edizione del Torino Film Festival, prendono il via numerose sessioni competitive, ma quest’anno il Festival lancia due nuove iniziative, “La Zona” e “Lo stato delle cose”. (more…)

Venice Film Festival

The next week stars the Venice Fim Festival: one of the must important event in the World of Cinema.

Looking at the program of the Mostra of Venice number 64 (64th edition) you can see how good is the competition. Also in cinema .

Because the program of Lagoon Kermess, that will be presented from 29 August to 8 September, brings a lot of great authors with both quantity and quality:

from Woody Allen to Brian De Palma, from Kenneth Branagh to Paul Haggis, from Ang Lee to Takeshi Kitano, from Peter Greenaway to Todd Haynes, from Eric Rohmer to Claude Chabrol, from Wes Anderson to Nikita Mikhalkov.

A lot of movie start are presented among whom: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, Richard Gere, Keira Knightley, Charlize Theron, Susan Sarandon, Scarlett Johansson.

The great challege for the competitors of the Festa di Roma and Festival di Torino.
