The International Book Fair comes back in Turin | May, 16th – 20th

Once again, the appointment with the International Book Fair comes back  in Turin: it will be held at the famous Lingotto, an establishment converted into an exhibition, convention and commercial centre by the architect Renzo Piano. The event will take place from 16th to 20th May 2013 and will be powered by the Foundation for the book, music and culture, Piedmont Region, the Province of Turin and the City of Turin.

The Fair is the largest library in Italy and in the Mediterranean area, where great, medium and small publishers reach the same visibility: even the local publishing has the opportunity to be known and appreciated beyond its territorial boundaries; it’s animmense shelf in which the public can meet the book in all its forms: e-books, audio books, ancient books

Cioccolatò: a tempting Chocolate Fair in Turin

From 2nd to 11th March 2012, a sweet initiative will be held in the city of Turin, Cioccolatò, the famous, yearly chocolate fair taking place in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.

The 9th edition of this event will be entitled “O ci vai o ci sei”, a funny sentence cross-referring an Italian way of saying (“Ci sei o ci fai?” – “Are you just plain stupid or what?”) and inviting in a very explicit way tourists and Turin citizens to the event. Potager Royal: teaching itineraries about Nature and Taste at Reggia di Venaria

From last April, 16th, the wonderful gardens of Reggia di Venaria (Turin) will be the scenario of an interesting, wholly-natural initiative: 10 hectares of orchards and vegetable gardens in a scenery punctuated by flower and vegetable plots, fountains and green galleries. Activities, didactic programs and thematic labs for everyone.
